Senecio vitalis wird auch Blauer Kreidefinger und Schmalbl\u00e4ttriger Kreidestock genannt, weil das l\u00e4ngliche Laub aus dem St\u00e4ngel herausragt und den Eindruck von Fingern vermittelt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der Blaue Kreidefinger hat graugr\u00fcne Bl\u00e4tter, die zwischen 7 und 15 cm lang sind. Senecio vitalis hat eine wachsartige Beschichtung, die es vor Hitze und Trockenheit sch\u00fctzt. Wenn die Beschichtung des Blattes entfernt oder abgerieben wird, kommt die blaugr\u00fcne Farbe der Sukkulente zum Vorschein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senecio vitalis kann bis zu 61 cm (24 inch) hoch und 152,4 cm (60 inch) breit werden.
