<\/figure>\n\n\n\nKalanchoe beharensis \u2018Fang\u2019 goes by multiple interesting nicknames such as \u2018Felt Plant\u2019, \u2018Felt Bush\u2019, \u2018Stalactite Plant Fang\u2019, and \u2018Velvet Leaf Kalanchoe\u2019.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These names are borne out of this variety of Kalanchoe\u2019s odd, weirdly-beautiful appearance that\u2019s identified by its thick, triangular-shaped leaves that are colored bronze on the surface and silver-gray underneath. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The leaves are covered by fine silver hairs and triangular protrusions that give the impression of the foliage having fangs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Another interesting feature of Felt Plant is its floral blooms – clusters of small, urn-shaped flowers that are colored red-orange or yellow-green. Fang will bloom when it matures, often in the late summer or early fall months. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, Fang remains sought-after for its gnarly foliage. Similar to \u2018Zwartkop\u2019 and \u2018Topsy Turvy\u2019, \u2018Fang\u2019 is also a recipient of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticulture Society. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
